Unlike UPS, who was asked to hold a package at the local store; instead, they left it on my porch while I was out of town.
Just received a letter from a nearby location that took 10 days that usually took 2 or 3. I second your skepticism.
Sometimes UPS doesn't exactly cover itself with glory either.
