It's amazing

Very short version:
I had to do something I hadn't done in months, which is go to a WalMart.  Got there, and found that instead of being able to go in close to where what I needed should be, they have one entry/exit at one end of the building.  The far one, of course.  I said to hell with it and left.  It kind of annoyed me so I made what turns out to be the mistake of, on their Fecesbook page, telling the story and saying a store this size ought to be able to figure out how to have more than one entry, despite the Wuhan LungRot hysteria.

It seems a lot of people think that means I believe I shouldn't have to follow the rules, am weak, am stupid, etc.  Also, a lot of people who claim not to care will take the time to find memes to post saying "Nobody cares".

Also, I love Trump, which explains everything.  According to someone who doesn't care but took the time to go check my page anyway.

It is possible I'm a dumbass for thinking this is a silly-ass way to run things.  I don't believe so(I have been wrong before, and I have been a dumbass before).

Ah well, this seems to be modern life.  Also a reason I probably ought to give up Fecesbook.

If I had to guess it is to prevent the vibrants from walking off with unpaid merchandise.

COVIDIOCY of the highest order. What to do? Here in South Texas, the dipshits finally opened the beach to drive on, but somehow keeping the bayfront open was okay (where people were hanging out).

Someone suggested it's WM taking this opportunity to cut the number of employees, just like getting rid of a lot of cashiers so people have to use the self-checkout. "This way we don't have to have anyone at the other doors saying 'please put on a mask', something like that. Which I suspect is the case.

That place had gotten a lot worse on service, and little things like having prices posted, which is why I've shopped there less and less over time.

Getting rid of FB is an excellent move. Nothing but screaming cry babies on there.

too many people with no life and time on their hands. apparently they are looking at their own reflection in the phone screen when they make comments like that. and sadly its not just millennials.

It is possible you're a dumbass for a myriad of reasons. Your love of the Cheeto in Chief is just one of them.

Said by someone who apparently has never paid attention to what I've said about Trump. Go away.

Don't forget, Firehand, you're being called a dumbass by a Nony Mouse, lacking even a proper handle.

Heh.

You are not wrong and not alone in your opinion of the silly entry exit game.

Have already had an altercation with local supermarket over this and also a Menards store (which is bloody football fields wide and deep). If the item I want is on the left end of the store, sorry, you must enter on the far right side of the store. One gate in, one gate out. Then again, I live in the peoples republic of Michiganistan where the dictator ignores the constitution, continually and the sheeple just bow down and take it in the ass.

You are not wrong and you are not alone. People are stupid and insane and really believing provable lies.

Today I found a gas station where I can buy lottery tickets without having to wear the Mask of Submission.

I'm posting this anonymously because I don't want them torched by mask-Nazis.

So shop at Meijer; the one on my way home from work had both doors open when I shopped there last night, and no one guarding those doors but the usual greeters. (For those not in the northern midwest, Meijer is pretty much the same as Walmart - because Walmart supercenters were an imitation of the stores Meijer had been building for 20 years previously - but is still family-owned and headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI.) Home Depot blocked all but one entry door to make you walk twice as far for a little while, but went back to the usual multiple entrances and exits. Walmart is the only store I've been in since this started that not only blocked doors for entrances _and_ exits, but went beyond Wretched Whitless's decrees with conspicuous door guards.

Got the Wal-Mart fatigue here also. Their ridiculous entry exit obstacle course has gotten me to use other stores more, even though it involves driving farther, or having to make 2 stops instead of one. Thankfully we had an Aldi open on this side of town just before the wu flu hysteria broke.
