Tam pointed to this dry-fire practice setup,

and it looks pretty good.  Actually cycles the action, can do fast repeat shots, the works.  Lots of Glocks, some M&Ps, 1911s...  Right now mine looks like that last-months plumbing repair, but maybe down the road.
