I've read that Eastwood is a shooter; if so, this makes another good thing

about him:
Clint Eastwood believes the rise of political correctness is no laughing matter.

He says the world would be a better place if we could still laugh at inoffensive jokes about different races.

The Hollywood actor and director, 78, said we live in constant fear of being labelled racist for simply laughing about national stereotypes.

'People have lost their sense of humour,' he told Germany's Der Spiegel magazine.

'In former times we constantly made jokes about different races.

'You can only tell them today with one hand over your mouth otherwise you will be insulted as a racist.
...
'I don't want to be politically correct. We're all spending too much time and energy trying to be politically correct about everything.'

Beats hell out of the drivel from people like Sean Penn.

Speaking of ethnic humor:

Yes but you can publish that cartoon because it isn't really ethnic humor, it's merely a picture that goes with a pun. I as a Wilson can laugh at humor directed at Campbell foibles because I, like the minorities protected by political correctness and the concept of hate speech, have a long memory and a short temper (actually not, but you get the idea).
Real ethnic humor directed at the Scots is the story of the Scotsman who, traveling across the Irish Sea to Ireland on his first sea voyage was anxious about seasickness. To his query the Irish sea captain told the Scotsman that the best method for him to keep from throwing up was to keep a sixpence clamped firmly between his teeth.

Windy Wilson, descended from lowland Scots, who probably knew a thing or two about sailing the seas around Scotland.
