Same time he's claiming 'I didn't have anything to do with the lockdowns!' Which is a horrible, and easily disproven, lie. But the Usual Suspects are sucking it up.

If masks only work at the margins, then the effect is negligible.
It's a problem of rolled throughput yield. If each day, a mask were to confer 10% protection, then the protection over two days is 0.10 x 0.10, or 0.01. That's 1%.
Over three days it's 0.1%.
So, if you are wearing a mask, and are exposed for several days, the protection drops to near zero. As people are infectious for several days prior to being symptomatic, the likelihood of being exposed for several days is high. So, the mask is unlikely to provide any significant effect.
Fauci should have all the masks rolled up and crammed up his butt.
