They don't think they are out of touch; they think those nasty commoners who don't live in proper places are out of touch with the REALLY important things, and thus deserve to be held in contempt.
I agree: if I go to a restaurant and they tell me I have to pull up the menu on my phone, I'll leave.

Biden and crew are doing an excellent job if you are willing to admit their intention is to destroy the country.
If the URL they give you is the actual company website's menu page, I don't see a problem (because i use UBlock+) but if they give you a QR code that links to a URL shortener, then I do have a problem. When Chili's here opened for indoor dining again, their QR codes to theirm menus were via a link shortener service and we always asked for a paper menu. Three weeks ago, that same QR code is now to the restaurant's website's menu page.
That being said: you do what you want to do, and we'll do the same. I won't make you stay and eat in a restaurant that isn't meeting your expectations. Cheers.
