Should be very glad all they did

was tie him to a tree.  And not in the path of the fire.

I hope someone's captured his social media accounts. Anyone know the over-under on whether this guy is an environmental whacko or climate change doomer?

Wouldn't surprise me a bit if this guy was setting fires in the hopes of getting another "global warming is killing us" fury going. I've been wondering that for a while. How many of these horrible wildfires that we ultimately find out were started by people were intentional and to serve a political agenda?

I don't know the odds, but I'd say, considering past captures, they're decent.

Tying him to a tree wasn't all they did. He was treated at the hospital for injuries received "falling down".

Now, I generally disapprove of beatings administered by agents of the state, except when they can prove the violence was necessary to apprehend the suspect with video and witnesses not associated with the police - I've seen too many lying cops to believe them without corroboration. But I find I may feel differently when it was citizens who don't have qualified immunity, a lawyer paid by the police union, or are friends of the prosecutor.

Same as happened in Australia. Environmentalist-arsonists.

The fires that destroyed fort mcmurray in alberta turned out to be human caused. 6 fires all started on same day at same time.
The australian huge one 2 tears ago was also arson by enviroweenies

The best line in the article: An ambulance crew was asked to respond due to some injuries that the suspect apparently received from falling down.
Yeah, "falling down" right.
