If the asshats running the Senate were honorable, and not trying to sneak crap in,

why would they do this?
As the Senate passed a gun control bill this week with fifteen Republicans siding with Democrats, Senator Rand Paul noted that no one had time to even read the legislation because it was “assembled in secret.”

“Unfortunately, this legislation was assembled as many are — in secret, absent well-placed leaks to journalists,” Paul tweeted, adding “There doesn’t appear to be a willingness or time provided to read, understand, debate or amend this bill.”
...
In a further interview Paul noted “They didn’t even give us the actual bill to vote on it. They gave us a blank piece of paper and said, ‘Vote on this and trust us as to what the legislation will be when it comes forward and trust that there’ll be an actual amendment process.'”

Lying, corrupt, anti-rights hacks.

Then the vote should be a "NO", should it not?

They had to get it passed and signed before the Uvalde story fell apart completely.

I'm looking for a lot of shit the RINOs never agreed to showing up in the final draft.

The bill should be made available for the public to read before voting so they know what their reps. are voting for and then how.

I have held for many decades that any proposed legislation should be subject to a hold equal to one day per printed page, to allow it to be read and digested. It might be nice to require the sponsors of the legislation to read it aloud, accurately. Miss a 'Left square bracket 48 colon A emdash 42' and you have to start again from the top. One more time. With feeling.

Start realizing.
They are. And always have been in bed together.
All smoke and mirrors.

The inside-baseball story on how the recently-signed Gun Control legislation was stealthily eased through the system by hiding it within another bill. If you thought that the 14 Republicans who made this legislation fillibuster-proof (thus guaranteeing its passage into law) were acting in your best conservative interests, then consider what lengths they went to in order to ensure their constituents and the watchdogs weren't able to see what they were doing - until it was too late.

Republican In Name Only, and by their actions, Democrat Activists.
