I cannot find the quote, from some gun-control bigshot after Biden's dear Clinton AWB sunsetted,
said that it was no surprise that it did not affect crime rates and that the real value of it was to get people used to the idea of a gun being banned because of its appearance. Right now, if can be found, it needs to go around.

You may have a difficult time finding a source for the quote. James O'Keefe had it on, Youtube but it's no longer online and the account that hosted it has been deleted. The "fact checkers" are hard at work.
