Buy stamps
Less than 48 hours later, cannot find stamps.
Since not going to buy more when I know the damn things are here somewhere, do something other than mail.
Eat lunch.
See stamps laughing at me from a place I DAMN WELL KNOW I LOOKED TWICE...

Yeah, frickin' gremlins. Last week, we contracted a person who painted our home soffit and fascia. We lent him a brush which removed the grime really well. He like the brush - did the job very well. He completed the job and took off. We couldn't find the brush.
But did we call him - nope. We knew it would turn up and sure enough, it did show up. Saved us some embrassment.
