As an online discussion of gun owners’ rights grows longer, the
probability of an ad absurdum argument involving nuclear weapons
approaches 1.
Also, thanks to Mr. Huffman, someone starts that "Nobody wants to take your guns!" crap, he gives lots of ammunition to respond with.

I usually argue that nukes would be a hell of a lot safer, privately owned than under the control of the most psychopathic and narcissistic individuals in society, as they are at present.
At least two of the British prime ministers in my life time, have allegedly been avid cottagers ( seeking gay sex from strangers in public toilets)
Nothing wrong with that per SE.
But it implies the very opposite of cool headed and mature consideration of long term objectives... Which the occupant of number 10 and finger on the button of britains nukes, is popularly supposed to display
