muscle soreness related to sling use and it trying to compensate, still sucks.
Authorities in Honduras say they have arrested five Syrian nationals who were attempting to travel to the United States using stolen Greek passports, according to Reuters.
Meanwhile, in Germany,
Nordic cross in German colors ... wait ... I know that flag ... and then it hit me.
That is the flag of two of my heroes; Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Colonel Claus Philipp Maria Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg.
That is the Josef Wirmer flag. The flag of the German resistance in 1944.
Something tells me Merkel really doesn't like this.
From President I'm Smarter Than Everyone Else,
Wednesday on Newsmax
TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show,” veteran journalist Sharyl Attkisson said
her sources have told her that President Barack Obama does not want and will not read intelligence reports on groups “he does not consider
terrorists,” despite being on a U.S. list of designated terrorists.
Must be nice to be an Only One: break both law and regulations, and maybe get some days off. Bastards.
The director also outlined steps the agency has taken since the
revelation that employees potentially violated the law and agency
policy. Clancy said “several dozen” employees have been administered
disciplinary proposals and “more are on the way.” Later, Clancy said around 42 employees will be issued disciplinary actions ranging from three to 12 days of suspension.
Must be nice to know you can break the laws you enforce on the peasants, huh?

Sounds like we had some of the same type of surgery. I had broken my collar bone years ago, gotta love Army doctors. The break wasn't discovered for something like 20 years since it would start to heal then I would do something and it would come apart and the end of it would grind against the joint where it was supposed to be hooked up. One day I was working under my house and it got to hurting so bad I could barely crawl out. It just happened that I had a doctor appt. the next day for this problem and plain as day, there on the x-ray was the broken joint. I spotted it as soon as they hung the film up it was so obvious.
Anyway, along with some other stuff they did what is called an A.C. Joint Recession where they cut about a 1/2" off the end of my collar bones. They did both of them at different times, I'm still not sure if the left one was broken or not, he said they had to do both or my shoulders would be all crooked...lol. One normal looking and the other one dropped lower. He was right on that, I used to have wide shoulders from working hard all my life but now they both just sorta hang there.
They actually fixed the right shoulder, it never hurts like it used to. However the left shoulder still grinds like its full of gravel or something and its a lot worse when the weather changes.
I had mine done in August and didn't do any shooting except with a .22 until the next summer. Had to miss deer season that year but I didn't want to mess up something because of recoil.
So hang in there. It will get better, just takes time. Good luck healing up.
By the way, I live in Eastern Oklahoma.
The collarbone work was less drastic, but it definitely tells me it's there. And anything above a .22 rifle, probably not till next year; besides the "I don't want to have to have repair work on the repair work", I can't even use the right arm to support the forend of a rifle right now; recoil over there I don't want to even think about.
The therapist I had yesterday turned out to be a hunter and shooter herself, and gave specific warning about recoil.
