Melissa Click, an assistant professor of mass media at University of Missouri, (link fixed)

who I suspect of liking to go by Commissar when no outsiders are around.
“You need to get out, you need to get out,” Melissa Click demanded of the person filming the protest. “You need to get out,” she continued before trying to grab the camera out of the videographer’s hands.

“I actually don’t,” the journalist told Click.

“Hey, who wants to help me get this reporter out of here,” the media professor then hysterically exclaimed to the assembled mob. “I need some muscle over here!”
A freaking ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MASS MEDIA.  Yeah, she wouldn't have any problem with running the censorship program, would she?

And let's not forget one of the other school brass involved in this crap:
Later in the video, the crowd aggressively started pushing the reporter around in an attempt to get him to stop covering their behavior.

“They have an education to get and a life to live,” a woman identified as Janna Basler, the assistant director of Greek Life & Leadership at the university, yelled at the photographer.

“I’m trying to document this for history,” Tai, the photographer, told the crowd.

“Everybody else has documented it,” Basler declared. “You gotta go.”
They want a safe space, all right; one where they can threaten and abuse people, and act like the Red Guard, with no record being made of it.

Both assistant professor Melissa Click and Janna Basler need to be fired and excluded from any educational service in the future. To call for "muscle" is a clear indication of aggression which in standard terms is a call for violence. As for Ms. Basler, she, too, should be fired. Her aggressive actions of physically touching the photographer is a sign of instigating an aggressive response of the photographer. She clearly did not think of the potential harm if he had fallen and possibly walked on. As a mature "adult", she should have not tried to instigate a potential violent situation.
Regardless of whether or not the photographers should themselves have backed off, these two individuals should be held responsible for their actions. If this is a public space, then all have a right to congregate in the area and NOT have their 1st amendment rights violated, something of which I would be certain these two ladies are not familiar with.

I'd love to see the idiots sued in federal court for civil rights violations, specifically First Amendment rights. Hit her hard in the pocketbook, to the tune of several hundred thousand.

If she touched him aggressively that's battery. The other bitch is guilty of assault. At least in FL.
