Have the officers been fired? Been charged? Have the medical personnel involved been fired or charged? Why the hell NOT?
Until they've been fired for this, and charged, and the settlement at least partially taken out of their pockets, it's not nearly enough.

That's the big one. LEO's need to be held personally, financially responsible for this crap.
As long as the taxpayers are footing the bill for their own harrasment* nothing will ever change.
* Not to mention having to pay for both our prosecution and our defense.
