.380 vs. 9mm

Not as much difference as I'd thought.  And yeah, two things that always have to be remembered:
A: .380 may be a choice for someone for real reason, and
B: ANY gun beats no gun.

No, no problem with vote fraud....
You’d think more media outlets would have been interested, because the sloppiness revealed in the DOI report is mind-boggling. Young undercover agents were able to vote using the names of people three times their age, people who in fact were dead. In one example, a 24-year female agent gave the name of  someone who had died in 2012 at age 87; the workers at the Manhattan polling site gave her a ballot, no questions asked. Even the two cases where poll workers turned away an investigator raise eyebrows. In the first case, a poll worker on Staten Island walked outside with the undercover investigator who had just been refused a ballot; the “voter” was advised to go to the polling place near where he used to live and “play dumb” in order to vote. In the second case, the investigator was stopped from voting only because the felon whose name he was using was the son of the election official at the polling place.

Of COURSE she's got an enemies list.  Anybody surprised by this hasn't been paying attention.

Nirbheek, India's first gun for women
Looks like an update of the Webley, in .32 Long.
Comment in the article I have to say something about: But not all women believe carrying a handgun would help combat harassment on public transport daily. "There is nothing they can do to a woman with a gun that they cannot to one without," says Shalini Seth, a medical executive touring on most of the week days. "In rape, the threat is not so much to life and a weapon may not be helpful once a tormentor has prevailed on his prey," she says.
Ms. Seth, you've got the order wrong: the gun is to PREVENT the tormentor from prevailing.  As the saying goes "NOTHING says 'No' like a sucking chest wound. Or two." Put another way,

If you hate Jews, but you're a black 9/11 truther, you get a really cleaned-up obituary.

This is being posted much later than my usual start of the day for reason other than laziness.  I got into the doctor's office today to learn that I was right: the nuisance-level whatever that screwed with me last week had indeed morphed into a sinus infection.

So I'm now loaded with sufficient antibiotics that I could probably have unsafe sex for the next two weeks with no worries*, and the anti-congestion stuff that actually works, but between the last week, the meds, and the lack of sleep**, I think I'm going to take the rest of the day off.

*except any kind of sex would require enthusiasm and movement, both in short supply right now.
And thank you again!, oh nannies who wish to save us from meth, for making asking for a friggin' decongestant THAT ACTUALLY WORKS is the equivalent of getting a scrip for morphine filled.  I hope every one of you "We have to save people!" bastards gets the same infection I've got  and you're only allowed the emasculated stuff you think is good enough for us.  FOAD, sonsabitches.

**You try sleeping when every little bit you try to breathe and another blob of stuff comes out your nose.  Or you start coughing and have to examine what you spit in the trash can to see if it contains any lung tissue.

Obviously Indian women should eschew clothing and just wake up naked, walk out their front door, lie on their backs and spread their legs. Doing *anything* else will just anger the rapists and make the lives of women that much worse.

The must must be a point at which the advocates for Women's Victimhood reaches a point of total absurdity.

Coupla' t'ings:

First, I sympathize. I'm on my second round of antibiotics and steroid dose packs for my own sinus infection. Once you hack up the first lung, the rest is easy.

Second, refer the the above steroid dose packs. If you haven't been prescribed any along with the antibiotics, go back and whack your doctor. It makes a phenomenal difference in one's ability to breath/sleep at night.

Once the worst clears up, go look for a pharmacy that sells "Leader" brand OTC meds. Specifically, look for a product named "Loratadine". I used to use Claritan (sign your life away please), but switched to this stuff a while back. Does the job, and you don't have to inform the feds that you're taking it...

Did give a steroid, I forgot to note it.

I will have to see if I can find that brand around here, thank you.
