Hmmmm, it's blowback.
Marlin's 9mm Camp Carbine from the 1980s used to use Hi Power mags, the mag that came with the guns when they were new was 12 shot and wouldn't fit a hi power, but 10 minutes with a little grinder (or a bit longer with a file) had 13 shot and bigger hipower mags working fine in the carbine, the tops of the mags were identical, I couldn't measure any significant differences in them.
Quality was a closed bolt semi auto Sterling carbine, with the excellent Sterling dual feed position mags with roller followers. the closed bolt Uzis were nice too.
