I've got a few minutes, and the news is pissing me off

enough to ignore the hand, so:
Hey, why wouldn't Mayor Fenty want to go more in the hole? It's not his money being wasted.

Pastor Harrington needs a kick in the balls; one guy got hurt, relations with the cops set back badly and the dumb bastard still thinks this was a good idea... And Mayor Ballard is a real suckass politician, isn't he?

"Well, yes, it's dirty money, but we're Congress! And we need it!"

Here in OK, the 'insurance scan' camera plan is in trouble. Good.

Well, well, a bit more on Sherrod's past, brought up by the left. And it's not a nice past.

Uh, it's not an 'upgrade' when the hospital forces you to another room so as to accommodate the muslim's sense of ethics.

Well, when you give the state the power to decide if you'll be allowed to exercise your rights, you get people like Terrence B. Sheridan, superintendent of the Maryland State Police, and three members of the Maryland Handgun Permit Review Board, Denis Gallagher, Seymour Goldstein and Charles M. Thomas Jr. screwing with people.

And last, this is what illegal alien supporters think of this country:
Makes you think there's a place for mortars, isn't there?

One more thing: Robb links to the scene of a cartel gunfight in Mexico; note the use of radios, ID methods, prepared ambush, body armor and that this went on for 2-3 hours. Some pictures very graphic.

continued delays could jeopardize the system's ability to produce $50 million this fiscal year.

A fine to an uninsured motorist is supposed to encourage people to get insurance to avoid the fine. It is not supposed to be the backbone of a 'neato' way to generate revenue to fund someones fiefdom.

There's also that it would be a private company running it, and able to mine the data, etc.

Since the semi-private room was not acceptable to the muslim patient, why wasn't SHE moved?

Good-hearted gestures are not good things to do when the recipient views them as his or her due because of their religious superiority.
