Friend's Model M has the original grips, the left badly chipped, so decided to try making a set of walnut for it. Not finished with the sanding and no oil or any finish as yet. They fit pretty well. I think after final sanding and finish, they'll look pretty well.Maybe a set for the .380 with some checkering...

Looks pretty good. I used French walnut to make some grips for my Ruger MkII, and was quite happy with them just smooth and oil finished.
