Security Staff is old,
and having trouble getting around. The vet prescribed something that should help; I dearly hope so.

What is it with a lot of the left hating Jews?
Denise Katz-Prober, a Brandeis Center lawyer who represents Blotner and Preis, said in an interview with The College Fix that the two women were treated horribly. “They essentially have been victimized three times,” she said. “They were victimized first when they were sexually assaulted, then by the community of students and support services they turned to, and then by the university when they reached out for help and the university failed to take steps to protect them.”

When the other members of the club, officially called New Paltz Accountability (NPA), learned that both women were ardent and public supporters of Israel, these club members began a campaign to harass and dox the women continuously.
Countless threatening messages were sent over messaging apps, detailing where students could find Blotner. She said some messages read “Find Cassie in town,” “She is here,” “Find the Zionist” and “Spit on her,” according to Blotner. “For this entire social media platform to only be talking about me and threatening me because of my beliefs, that was enough that I did not feel safe at all, so my dad picked me up and I went home,” Blotner said.
Preis described the ordeal as “very traumatizing.”
Because of their fear of being attacked, both students missed numerous classes. And they did so according to the advice of the New Paltz administration, which refused to provide them protection and instead told the two women to simply stop attending classes. Blotner received incompletes in all her classes, while Preis was unable to complete the double major she was working towards.
This is disgusting. Sue the ass off the bastards, it's the only thing they might pay attention to.

Nor was this campaign of harassment by NPA a secret. It later publicly declared in an Instagram post that it would blacklist anyone who supports Israel.

As the subject of 'PC at any cost' came to mind,

Sure enough, a few days later, Bev emailed me, saying that her board had decided that I was the wrong age, sex, and race to meet their diversity requirements, and that my anti-Islam stance was problematic.
The identity group bean-counting was obnoxious enough. But my criticism of Islam? Think of it: a self-styled gay activist, who according to Islamic teaching should be executed, was worried about offending Muslims. This was, moreover, a woman who’d experienced Amsterdam during that brief golden era when it was gay heaven — an era when, among other things, it was one of the few places on earth where gays could walk down the streets hand-in-hand without worrying about being pummeled to bits.
An era, that is, before Islam moved in and gradually changed everything.
Much like 'Queers for Palestine', who see supporting Palestinian terrorists as vital to being homosexual; never mind that the people they're supporting want every gay dead.

My question: with the offensive going so well, if Ukraine invades Russia,
to any extent, just how badly will Putin & Co. react?

The new gun law of New York state has claimed its first casualty: the Battle of Plattsburgh. It’s the first event happening after the new law went into effect on the 1st. There’s nothing in the law that let’s an exemption happen or a waiver happen for an event in a historical significance like we have here in Plattsburgh. We have over 70 reenactors that were coming to this event. Very disappointing.”

to be even-handed anymore. ANYTHING on Trump gets the worst possible slant, pretty much same for any Stupid Party member. Except those who slap at Trump, they get pretty good treatment.
Various people have said "I didn't like Trump or vote for him, but after all this shit I will this time if he runs", and I think that covers a lot of people who aren't saying it out loud. Just the mid-terms are going to be nasty, and as Nov. 2024 approaches, right now all bets are off.
