I believe I mentioned my M-1917 rifle (Eddystone, barrel dated May of 1918) in a recent email. That same rifle has left over British red paint on the front wood from when they BARROWED it during WWII. Yeah, it's staying right here. They had their chance.

I wondered about how they could be surprised at being allowed to have a flintlock, then I remembered they are not allowed knives...
What Britain needs these days is Robin Hood again, but I'll bet arrows are illegal these days too.
That is life in the totalitarian states of the New Great Britain.
