I should note that Britain had a bunch of council elections, and the Labour Party and the Tory Party(to a lesser extent)

got their asses kicked, which is causing lots of upset and wailing, and traitors wondering what's going to happen to them when they can't hide behind that seat anymore?

I'd hope tar & feathers at the least,  and some of the bastards should become tree or lamppost decorations, but probably no such luck.

There are several pieces on it here, and lots more out there if you want to search around.  Which also has this piece of disgustingness:
HAVE last week’s local council elections brought Islamic blasphemy laws one step closer? Dr Gavin Ashenden argues that they have. He says the clearest message to come from the results is that ‘the electoral muscle of Muslim communities’ can act as a veto to remove parties from power.

He refers to Nazi Germany to explain how this can happen. It is the best example, he argues. Just 12 per cent of the population belonging to the Nazi party resulted in Hitler’s winning path through democratic means. The way our democratic voting system works means that single blocks voting together can swing an election one way or the other. The government, he reminds us, is already looking for ways to make criticism of Islam impossible or illegal. The consequence of the latest round of elections – with Labour looking over its shoulder to its declining Muslim vote and desperate to keep it – makes that prospect considerably more likely, and it threatens one of the most precious things we have, which is freedom of speech.

It's disgusting that the answer is almost certainly yes.  Much like I expect NYeffingCity will wind up with Sharia patrols starting at any time, with anyone who objects being labeled a racist and Commie Islamist Mamdani trying to figure out how to have them arrested.
