I have a small issue with the wording and think you might even agree. The right to self defense is a natural God given right that ALWAYS exists independent of any legal structure attempting to remove it. Even if you don't believe in The Almighty you can oberve the right to self defense in nature. The least creature will fight back if given no other choice.

Same thing with the 2A. Even if it was repealed, the Right still exists.
Doesn’t mean TPTB won’t try to hang you for using it though.
