A little more on 'things have improved'

Cataract surgery used to be a serious surgery with long recovery time.  That's after they figured out how to do it.

Now you go in, they get you prepped, put you to sleep, you wake up, and maybe an hour later you go home.  It's still serious, but the methods and materials have advanced so much...

It's going to be strange walking around with one lens out of my glasses for a few weeks, but worth it.

Congratulations Firehand! Glad you will still be with us, new and improved. Wish you the best.

For this whiny five-year-old crybaby candy-ass, it was a piece of cake.

Also, it made all the girls prettier.

Didn't put me to sleep, and in fact, only used 'numbing drops' to do the surgery. Actually, the worst part of it was doing the drops 3 times a day for weeks.

Mine are one for a week, the other till it runs out. Which will probably be about 3 weeks.
