Having obtained a new-to-me vehicle,

I now have to figure out every damned function built into it.

What did you buy?

Join the club brother. Just picked up wife's new 2020 Honda CRV.

Good thing I am an engineer and computer literate. The entire cabin aside from the temperature controls and a half dozen switched functions, it is all touch screen menu driven.

Am halfway tempted to buy the extended warranty just because of this, assuming it covers the telematics. Good luck, am actually reading the manual (ugh!).

Honda Ridgeline

If it didn't come with an owner's manual, download it online. If it's the original Ridgeline with the spare tire under a hatch in the box, make sure you take the spare (and tools) out before loading it with cord wood. A co-worker learned that lesson the hard way.

Serendipity strikes but Hondas have proven to us over 3 vehicle generations (to date) to be pretty bullet proof.

Be glad you did not get a 2020 VW product, they did away with ALL the switches aside from what is on the stalks and steering wheel. GPS map display where the speedometer resides is a tad disconcerting. I drove one while they were updating the Passat TDI to meet idiotic .gov regs.

Spare's in that place. Did have the manual, they advise to pull it and put it in the bed if carrying a lot of stuff, just in case.

they actually have a spot in the front of the bed where the threaded spindle that holds it in the trunk will hold it.
