As Michael Williamson put it:
The Right: “I have this perfectly reasonable opinion.”
The Left: “OMG HATE SPEECH! YOU’RE FIRED AND YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA IS BANNED AND YOUR JOB IS FORFEIT AND YOUR BUSINESS WILL BE SUED INTO BANKRUPTCY.”
Randa Jarrar: “Barbara Bush was a racist and I’m glad she’s dead and I hope her husband suffers and eff you because I can never be fired.”
The Right: “Wow. That’s not right.”
The Left: “FREE SPEECH FREE SPEECH FREE SPEECH YOU FASCISTS!”
Google being run by intolerant leftists may well have a price. A big one. Good.
But recognizing their real enemies would mean criticizing some people and groups on the left. And the people this is aimed at won't do that.
What? Banning guns for the commoners didn't get rid of crime? Impossible!
You've got a socialist hellhole that doesn't want said commoners to have any way to fight back; what the left wants here.

Um .. your commentary was obviously written in haste and not logically constructed; but I get your point.
I think.
Someone said something atrocious, and you didn't like it (neither did I!), and you run the risk of being castigated because "Hate Speech".
Were I consulted, I would have said that the comment you found objectionable was "Hate Speech".
In truth the woman who demeaned Ms. Bush was exercising her First Amendment Rights ... and so were you.
The Constitution only prevents the federal government from abridging Free Speech; it doesn't prevent individuals from saying hateful things.
I don't like seeing a Grand Lady insulted, any more than you do. But to quash such statements would not be a good idea.
Even when the author is, in your (or my) opinion, a hateful dumb-ass.
