Two things from the idiots running Minneapolis

First, on cowardly chickenshit politicians:
Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said Wednesday that he does not yet have enough evidence to file charges against a Minneapolis police officer in the shooting death of Justine Ruszczyk Damond, blaming investigators who “haven’t done their job.”

Freeman made the comments during a union event after being confronted by activists, who recorded the interaction. They asked Freeman why it has taken so long for him to decide if Officer Mohamed Noor was justified in shooting and killing Damond on July 15.
...
In the six-minute video, the activists approach Freeman at the Wednesday event. After Freeman said he did not have the evidence to charge Noor, blaming investigators for not doing their job, one man said, “I don’t understand why this seems to be such a hard thing.”

“Fair question,” Freeman responded. “I have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt, the moment he shot the gun he feared for his life, and he used force because he thought he was going to be killed. But he won’t answer my questions. … I can’t talk to her because she’s gone, and the other cop just gave us [expletive]. So guess what, I’ve gotta figure out angles of the shot, gun residues, reckless use of force experts. …
Translation: "Hey, don't blame me for  not making a decision, it's THEIR fault!"  And in that last paragraph, it sounds an awful lot like he's trying real hard to find a way to not indict the bastard, doesn't it?

Second, under the heading of 'PC at any cost',
The city of Minneapolis may fire its police psychology evaluator because his tests screened out too many minority candidates, despite already lowering psych evaluations far below the national standard

The July police shooting of Justine Damond triggered the city to scrutinize its psychological standards for police, with many claiming they’d become lax. Psychiatrist Thomas Gratzer has run psych testing for the Minneapolis police for the past five years, and in that time, he has eliminated four of the five tests used to determine whether a candidate is fit to be an officer, APM reported Thursday. Now, Gratzer is facing firing not for gutting his standard, but for screening out too many minorities.
Think about that: they're deliberately not screening applicants as they should.  Because 'not enough minorities pass'.  Which means they don't give a damn about unqualified cops, and the damage they do, so long as they can claim they're being all progressive and inclusive in hiring them...

The old democratic triad of the Humphrey, Mondale, and Freeman families has collapsed into uselessness. They had to drag the Dayton family in to prop it up... I'm sure in the future that they will rely on the Somalis to keep the DFL in the chips.
