Saturday, between the front door and the truck managed to lose my house keys.
This morning the other set disappeared somewhere between the front door and the kitchen.
And no, I still can't find either one of the damn things.

Looks like you have a gremlin infestation. If you catch one of them, you'll have to waterboard his hiding place out of him. It will be a long way from where he snatched them!
