Obviously, part of this is due to our own commitment to the right to keep and bear arms, but it also reflects 3 lawyers' opinions that these laws are so poorly drafted and so designed to trap otherwise legal citizens into a crime (one of our attorneys referred to them as "flypaper laws") that it is simply too dangerous for us to film here.
If you think a lot of people don't pay attention to that, you're a fool.  Nobody wants to wind up in jail because some LE with hard-on for enforcement busts them on something that's either iffy or flat bullshit, but the way the crap is worded he can get away with doing it.

On to the People's Republic of Maryland:
New legislation is forcing gun manufacturing company Beretta to uproot and take their business elsewhere.
At the end is a fine example of the idiocy they're leaving behind:
One legislator stated: “Other than target shooting, the only other reason [for a semi-automic firearm] would be for self-defense… [Why would you need a] rifle that accommodates 20 rounds semi-automatic for deer hunting? … It’s only very infrequently that someone commits a crime with an assault weapon – why do you need one for self-defense?”
