It appears Cuomo has problems

Between his ears, as well as the others.  All for wearing a Remington cap at the gate:
But once inside the Mansion, Tenney, a lawyer and mother of a 21-year-old Marine, was surrounded by a number of nervous Cuomo aides including Larry Schwartz, the governor’s secretary, who feared she’d defiantly put on the cap during Cuomo’s remarks. ”Larry put his hand on Claudia’s arm and said, ‘Are you going to wear that during the breakfast because if you are, we’re going to have to ask you to leave’,’’ said the witness …”
Note that this is a elected rep of a district being told she'll have to leave a breakfast visit at the Governor's house if she wears the hat; which, let us remind the bastard does not belong to him...
Well, let's rephrase: they'll 'ask her to leave'.  My question is, what if she did, and wouldn't?  Going to call the cops on her?  Oh, that'd go over REAL well.

Tesla is apparently run by bigots and hoplophobes.  Fucking idiots, actually.
Industry sources suggest that the reveal was supposed to take place one week later, at the NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway, but with the announcement that the National Rifle Association would be the title sponsor of that race, the federal government decided to move the announcement to Martinsville. "We aren't sure how many fans would be friendly toward alternative energy at an event sponsored by the NRA," said the source, "and we have to assume a large percentage of them will be armed."
Allow me to  inform you of two things, Mr. Source:
NASCAR fans aren't bothered by electric cars; they're bothered by crooked jerks using taxpayer money.  Build the thing on your own dime, and it works, they'll be interested.
Second, by your bigoted comments about the millions of members and supporters of the NRA, you've revealed what kind of fool you are.  So piss off.

A large percentage will be armed? Maybe in the parking lot. Every state that I know of does not allow concealed carry at sporting events and this would definitely qualify as a sporting event.

Plus, so what if they were armed. Having been to numerous Nascar races, I have never been in a more polite and well mannered crowd.

Titan has it right, firearms are not allowed in the facility of TMS.

Subsection (b) of section 46.035 provides that a license holder commits an offense if he or she intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly carries a handgun under the authority of article 4413(29ee) in certain places. Such conduct is prohibited.

on the premises of a business that has a permit or license issued under Chapter 25, 28, 32, or 69, Alcoholic Beverage Code, if the business derives 51 percent or more of its income from the sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premises consumption;
on the premises where a high school, collegiate, or professional sporting event or interscholastic event is taking place, unless the license holder is a participant in the event and a handgun is used in the event;

Had Tesla done a minutes worth of research they would have known that.
But more importantly is their attitude that people who are armed aren't to be trusted. Thanks Tesla -- now I know who I will not buy a vehicle from ever; even if I win the lottery.
