No, no brilliant insights tonight,

just some clearing

Yes, I've known some belly dancers, twerking is nothing

                                                                    REAL bad idea, guys

Considering what son has told me about some of the equipment he uses, I can see this

I was using something I bought a year ago, and thought I probably should mention it

One bad thing about loading black powder cartridges is that almost no powder measure made is considered safe to use with it.  And yes, there are arguments about it, that's the general rule.  That means either getting real good at using a dipper of the right size, or weighing every charge, which can really slow things down.

Enter this measure made by Montana Vintage Arms, specifically intended for black powder to eliminate the plastic parts and possible pinch points that might cause problems.  I'll let their description of how it works cover things.  It comes with all you need, the measure itself, your choice of a hopper to hold 1/4 pound, half pound or one pound of powder, and the adjustable scale.

The big thing is consistency, using the same motions every time, and it will be without plus/minus one tenth of a grain, which in black powder is nothing.  I've read tests people tried where, out of a whole string, they might sometimes be off by 0.2 grain, which, again, is just find with black.  National match shooters might disagree.

I finally managed to talk myself into this thing, and so far it's been great.  It'll run tiny to heavy charges with any granulation; I have read of people using 1f, the coarsest grade, having some problems on occasion, but it's mostly still the 'consistent motions every time' factor.  One thing a bunch of people agreed with was to run the lever twice; it can't double-charge, and it does seem to give a very consistent throw.

Now I just need more time to go out and shoot this stuff, so I can use it more.  Well made, solid equipment.

Go look at the Village Hemmorhoid's 'Political Social Media Posts',

it includes stuff from the Chicago PD that ought to be evidence in the trial of the people who gave the orders.  Jeez, did they not think about this stuff being available, or were the politicians- in and out of uniform- too stupid to consider it?

Why are so many Democrats such hateful, "I hope people die" bastards?

Jay Jones, the Democratic nominee for attorney general of Virginia, faced condemnation from Republicans and Democrats on Friday after text messages from 2022 resurfaced in which he said he would "piss on graves" of GOP opponents and mused about hypothetically shooting then-Republican Speaker of the House of Delegates Todd Gilbert.

In a text message exchange with Republican Delegate Carrie Coyner, Jones used violent and inflammatory language, writing that if he were presented with a hypothetical situation in which he had only two bullets and was faced with the choice of shooting Gilbert, former Nazi leader Adolf Hitler or former Cambodia dictator Pol Pot, he'd shoot Gilbert "every time," prompting pushback from his former colleague.

CBS doesn't mention it for some reason, he also told someone he'd like for the man's wife to have to watch their children die, because 'it might make them change their policies'.

They clown running as Democrat for Governor has had some problems, let us say, and this makes it worse.

Turns out Jones doesn't like cops, either.

And the blood-dancers of Everytown gave him a bunch of money, and don't want to talk about it.

Wonderful peple all, aren't they?

For some reason the spam filter

marked a bunch of comments as spam.  I think got them all cleared

Yes, one of those times,

so let it begin.

When you don't care of the enemy knows you're coming

The man says it: "Do you want federal troops in Chicago?"

Because this will damn well do it.
BREAKING: DHS announces federal agents in Broadview, IL were rammed & boxed in by 10 cars, including a woman armed w/ a semi-automatic gun who had posted online threats to “fuck up” ICE & was flagged in a CBP intel bulletin. DHS says feds fired on her defensively.

DHS: “Pritzker’s Chicago Police Department is leaving the shooting scene and refuses to assist us in securing the area. There is a crowd growing and we are deploying special operations to control a growing crowd.”

More here.
And Instapundit has this:
Statute: The Insurrection Act. “Whenever the President considers that unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States, make it impracticable to enforce the laws of the United States in any State by the ordinary course of judicial proceedings, he may call into Federal service such of the militia of any State, and use such of the armed forces, as he considers necessary to enforce those laws or to suppress the rebellion.”

Oh, this will get sporty.  And the asshole in charge of Chicago PD is going to be answering some very pointed questions.  So are the Mayor and Governor.

A terrorist attack, two people killed

and the terrorist tried for more, terrorist supporters demonstrating, and what's the big government concern?

Guy's question is "What are they protesting?"  Starmer & Co. are weak, they know it, and they want more.

On that fun day?

The truck is fixed, and it was expensive.  A main electronics module that lost its electronic mind.

But is running again as it's supposed to.

Terrorist attack on a synagogue in Britain

Can happen here, too.  If you carry, do it everywhere and when you legally can.

Ever see 'That 70's Show'?

Line where girl tells boyfriend "You can't hold me responsible for what comes out of my mouth!"
Apparently that goes for media asshats as well.
A Washington Post columnist who was fired after misquoting slain free speech activist Charlie Kirk and is now preparing to take legal action— screaming she’s a casualty of censorship and discrimination.

However, an investigation by The Post found Karen Attiah has a history of trying to blame others for her poor work.

yesterday was a fun day

It was supposed to start with picking up my mother for a trip to get some stuff, that was short-circuited by vehicle trouble.  So it's in the shop, they found the problem with an electronics module, and yes, it'll cost some.

Makes me somewhat glad I blew off Monday and instead of a near-perfect range day I got some actual necessary stuff done.  Because if I had to do that after getting the truck back today(Please, I hope so), this would be one real busy day.

Starting this with, if you've read the books, one step closer

to Hammer's Slammers weaponry.
...In 5 to 10 years, Rafael chairman Yuval Steinitz predicts, “nothing hostile will fly in the air—no aircraft, no drones, no cruise missiles, no shells, no bombs—because the laser will completely clear the air of anything detected, anything seen.”

Now this is enjoying your work

Current events

Borrowing from something I read a long time ago,
"You have to remember, you don't decide what provocation is, the- in this case elephant- does."

Those bastards who shot up the Little League game?
On Friday, DHS officials revealed that Mustafa Mohammad Matalgah was awarded naturalized American citizenship in August 2023 by the Biden administration, despite having a prior arrest for drug possession.

Mohammad Matalgah immigrated to the U.S. from Jordan.

Likewise, DHS officials said the Biden administration gave Ahmad Mawed, an immigrant from Lebanon, a chain migration green card in June 2021.

Makes you wonder how many more bastards like this they let in.

And now, things to take care of.

Nukem Swalwell is now making another threat,

this time "We will get you if you cooperate with Trump!"

I guess Fang Fang has cut him off and his temper is showing.

About the EffingBI and 'Do you want people to say "I won't do that" instead of following orders?

question, yes.  And yes, I know that's a "Sir, I cannot in good conscience do this" that can get you transferred, possibly fired.  Or it would be "If my orders are to do this no matter what, I'll give you my resignation.

That's the same on the officers in charge of the pile of shit known as the retreat from Afghanistan; some of those high-rankers could have resigned their commission rather than carry out stupid/insane orders.

No, they didn't.  They should have.

My, not exactly big news for some reason

Hours before President Donald Trump’s address to the United Nations General Assembly, the U.S. Secret Service announced that it had dismantled a massive, decentralized SIM farm network, just 35 miles from New York City, hidden inside five abandoned apartment buildings. The telecommunications stealth weapon was capable of paralyzing regional cell networks through denial-of-service attacks.
Especially this being in place to affect New York(effing)City, you'd think it would've been really Big News, but no.

There was another story the other day about a guy being chased by cops who crashed into an off-duty FBI guy's car, who turned out to have some interesting stuff in the car, on the 'We may have interrupted something big' type.  And I can't find it.

Throw in a shooting at the ocean, and that awful mess at a church the other day, you have to wonder if any connections.

The problem is that if Harris actually believed that,

she'd be kissing his ass.
It's a few down

Ok, why isn't this BIG news?

On Thursday, three men—Mahmood Abdelsalam Rababah, Ahmad Mawed, and Mustafa Mohammad Matalgah—were arrested after firing guns toward a youth baseball field in Houston, causing players and coaches to flee for cover, according to Fox News.

One coach was shot while shielding the boys; the bullet struck his shoulder, and he was taken to a hospital to recover. “He literally took the bullet for a child that was to his left, and so thankfully we avoided a major disaster,” said Andy Baize, the founder of the team.

And why are the charges 'deadly conduct with a firearm' instead of attempted murder?
