Today was first day of evaluation and physical therapy,

the therapy varying from "That's not a problem" to "Stop there, that's painful!"

I did ask if it were best for me to say something or make noises if something became painful, and I was assured that both are fine.  So some noises were made, but nothing that required some level of screaming.  Close in one case, but not quite.

Weeks of this to come, and still have to wear the sling most of the time.  Oh yes, it will be fun.
