Iran under the Shah was a very secular state, as were most in the Arab world. You never hear Nasser or even Saddam talk about Mohammed.
Iranian women were allowed to be beautiful, went to college, people were allowed to enjoy Western culture, sing, dance. Life under the mullahs has been a half century of Hell provided by David Rockefeller, Bucketmouth Carter, Meat Puppet's father, and Islam.
