Among other 'just in case' decisions,

if this were a regular thing here(happily, it's not) or if I had to move someplace where it was, I'd have a snowblower.  I can't do this shovel & sweep it the way I used to.

Hands especially.  The shoulder was giving me some crap, but the hands, this is the first time of this since my arthritis got this bad, and they really hated it.  In part because the weather before this was nice enough there was enough residual heat in the pavement that the snow in contact was melting a bit.  Which meant whether I was using the broom to push some or the shovel to lift and move, it kept freezing on them and I'd have to shake/beat them off.  That got old real fast.

So this morning everything that had some slight melting when the sun came out yesterday refroze, and it's like a skating rink out there on the streets.  I'd go out for an emergency, but that's it.  It's supposed to get to the low 20's today, and that and traffic will help.

So indoors it is today.
