And the sun keeps doing what it always has,

and we'll see just how it affects us.

Seems we've escaped another Maunder Minimum, which- from what I've read of it- I was worried about.  As in 'the idea of that happening again scares hell out of me.'  However, with a sunspot cycle going on it probably means some warming on earth, which will cause the Globularists to scream at us some more.

Just a minor niggly point....does the "sun turn towards earth..."? Or do we circle the sun and the sun sits stationary?

Yes.
We orbit around the sun while rotating and the sun also rotates at different speeds from pole to equator.
(Equator rotating the fastest)
Sections of the sun can “turn towards earth” while others turn away. And if I remember correctly, the whole solar system is moving towards…somewhere.
