My sympathies are somewhat limited for these people, because

First, I'll bet most of them were just dandy about gun control until it turned out to bite them in the ass.

Second, why yes, if you spent part of that year rioting, burning, and looting, maybe trying to burn down buildings with people in them, then SURPRISE!  That WILL affect the .gov decision on you wanting a gun.

Third,
Activist Ross Eliot shares the desire for community defense and opposition to Measure 114. Rose and Eliot worry the law will disproportionately inhibit outspoken marginalized groups from purchasing guns, while doing little to prevent domestic terrorism. This is due to a confluence of factors, from the rise of 3D printed ‘ghost-guns’ to reports of ties by some Oregon law enforcement officials to right-wing groups like Patriot Prayer and the Oath Keepers.
As they say, "So much woke concern trolling in one story."  Which, considering the "Oh woe!, what if the government doesn't want me to have a gun?" crap, makes the horror of 'ghost guns' even more stupid.

Dumbasses.

Anyone titled an "activist" is not somebody worth bothering to get to know. They are the social woke equivalent of a "Karen."

For extra fun BM114 affects off duty police so they need to comply just like the rest of us. As you might expect they are very upset as they scramble to buy 10 round magazines and deal with pain of not receiving special treatment.

Someone once asked Jeff Cooper, "Where do you get your guns?"
He replied, "Nowhere. I've GOT my guns."
