No one surprised, except the experts

A new academic study has found that, once again, gun laws are not having their desired effect.

A joint study conducted by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the University of California at Davis Violence Prevention Research Program found that California’s much-touted mandated background checks had no impact on gun deaths, and researchers are puzzled as to why.
"But it HAD to work, our data must be bad, or incomplete, or something!"  Etc.

California’s failed gun control law appears to be yet another example of experts, to quote the great Milton Friedman, judging “policies and programs by their intentions rather than their results.”
Another example being "Even if this doesn't work, at least we're doing something!"

They honestly dont even know why they do it. They are on auto-pilot, still following Soviet marching orders long after their masters have died. Like those ww2 Japanese soldiers who wandered out of the jungles years after the war ended, not knowing it was over.

UCal Davis became known for viticulture. Now, who knew, a school for public health with the name Bloomberg attached...honest to God, I thought pigs could fly.

I guess there just wasn't enough money thrown at the study. Better wipe up and try again.

P.S. Anyone interested should save this 'study' for future reference. Because you just know the orcs will try to spin the data. Crunch the numbers again.

If the expectations are that gun laws will diminish crime then of course the desired outcome has not and will not happen. If however your ACTUAL goal is to enslave society and rule with impunity then successfully implementing such laws WILL have the desired effect. The trick is getting the gun grabbers to openly admit their REALagenda and goals.
