Are Unrecorded FBI Interviews a G-Man's License to Lie?
Let's remember that even Eric Holder ordered them to start recording interviews instead of doing this. And they didn't.
Remember that in the trial of the Florida nightclub attacker's wife, big reason she was acquitted was the Feds didn't record the interview, and their notes didn't match up to what the jury was being told. And when the agent in charge was asked why no recordings, "It never occurred to us to do that."
Even if they didn't deliberately lie, they're going by notes of an interview, NOT a transcript, and errors can creep in. You're left thinking that the reason they don't record the interviews is because they don't want an exact transcript. Now reflect on why that might be.
Why anyone would trust the FBI about anything anymore, I cannot understand.
