New Zealand sounds like they've been taking Stalin lessons

New Zealand authorities have reminded citizens that they face up to 10 years in prison for “knowingly” possessing a copy of the New Zealand mosque shooting video – and up to 14 years in prison for sharing it. Corporations (such as web hosts) face an additional $200,000 ($137,000 US) fine under the same law.
So just for HAVING A COPY of it, they'll put you in prison...

Screw that place.  I once wanted to visit there, but no more.

WTF ? Apparently NZ authority is afraid the figures on the screen will come to life and cause more mayhem.

Its a beautiful country, but like you, if the asylum is running the country, I think I'll pass too. Eff that noise, I might accidentally take a nail clipper in my luggage and get caned . . .

I did visit there a few years ago. Saw beautiful country, met wonderfully nice people. And yet they do this shit. Damn it all.

Or they don't want anyone looking at it in detail.

They need to hang someone for this. They are trying to taunt any loons out of the woodwork so that they can put on a morality play and position themselves as virtuous heroes. You aren't some random schlub that clicked on the wrong link on the internet - you're a hatey fascist hater that must be punished - publicly - so that your hateyness doesn't spread.

Shit like this is what comes of putting women in positions of authority. Just sayin'.
