Apparently The Lightbringer thinks the Pres. Johnson method

was something to emulate, rather than avoid.  Probably because he doesn't want to outright win, either.
“The U.S. military campaign against Islamic militants in Syria is being designed to allow President Obama to exert a high degree of personal control over the campaign, going so far as to require that the military obtain presidential sign-off for any strike in Syrian territory,” the Wall Street Journal reports.
How many lost opportunities, how many lost lives, while Obama plays "I'm a better general than my generals!" ?

And I do believe this is correct:
Let’s be honest: No effort can be successful if the Commander-in-Chief is unwilling to even define victory. This semantic murkiness is intentional, since it provides maximum political cover for the poll-watching president. Obama can declare that we “degraded” the terrorist threat with a single air strike or a thousand.
...
Obama does not want to win his new Iraq war. He can’t afford to. If the projection of American military power successfully solved the problem of Islamic terrorism, it would shatter Obama’s entire worldview.
And the 'pretend we're doing something' has worked well with Democrats and communists so far: pretend nothing can be done about Fast & Furious, about Holder breaking the law, about the IRS, about whichever else until 'the internal/DoJ/whatever investigation is done', said investigation being nothing more than 'delay until we can declare everyone innocent.'

Which brings me to this piece of information which should've been on every news broadcast:
Tonight, Rep. Chaffetz told Megyn Kelly there were four terrorists arrested crossing the US border in Texas on September 10.
There were actually four individuals trying to cross through the Texas border, who were apprehended at two different stations, that do have ties to known terrorist organizations in the Middle East.
And from the head of DHS, who is the newest version of Sgt. Schultz?
Rep. Chaffetz, who serves on the homeland security panel’s Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence, clarified that he was referring to whether known terrorists, suspected terrorists, or individuals with ties to terrorist organizations have been arrested trying to come into the country illegally.

“Sitting here right now, no specific case comes to mind,” responded Johnson. “That doesn’t mean there is none.”

One of these clowns who's already made it across or will, is going to make an attempt- or quite possibly succeed- in doing something horrendous, and Obamas' first reaction is going to be to try to use it to restrict us further; probably something on the lines of "We must control these weapons" bullshit.  Because that's more important to him than actually STOPPING TERRORISTS.
