late-dinosaur-age chicken?
If you took a chicken, crossed it with an ostrich, bulked it up to 500
pounds, stretched it out to roughly 11 feet, put a bony crest on its
head (like some ancient Greek helmet), added a dinosaur tail and a pair
of forelimbs with five-inch claws, and then, finally, stuck some
feathers on it ... you would have what paleontologist formally calls Anzu wyliei.
Depending on range, I'm thinking 12-gauge magnum buckshot or something in a nice .30-caliber.

After looking at the picture, I'd prefer anything .375 and up, preferably from over 150 yards away.
That would take a lot of brine:)
But do you have a recipe?
That's gonna take some thought.
But it will include that brine, and a lot of garlic and rosemary
I'm with Grog on this one. What's the recommended caliber for bear?
Figure the scattergun in close cover; further, yeah, something bear suitable, that's one BIG chicken.
