I'm still looking at other news. One thing first: NWS is saying that at one point, between Newcastle and Moore, this mother was 2.25 miles wide on the ground...
Some of the usual suspects are claiming Lois Lerner, the IRS clown in charge of the Exempt Organizations Division, is 'apolitical'. Nazzo fast, Guido:
Since admitting the IRS harassed hundreds of conservative and Tea Party groups for over two years, Lerner has been criticized for a number of untruths—including
the revelation that she apparently lied about planting a question at
an American Bar Association conference where she first publicly
acknowledged IRS misconduct.
...
The trouble with this defense is that, prior to joining the IRS,
Lerner's tenure as head of the Enforcement Office at the Federal
Election Commission (FEC) was marked by what appears to be politically
motivated harassment of conservative groups.
Anybody else as sick as I am of
A: These 'Gang of X' groups trying to make legislation in the darkness, and
B: The idiots and/or turncoats working with the enemy?
A hot microphone caught Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) coordinating which way members of the “Gang of Eight” who serve on the Senate Judiciary Committee would vote on immigration bill amendments, Breitbart News has learned.
“Do our Republicans have a pass on this one if they want?” the microphone caught Schumer saying.
More whistleblowers on Benghazi:
Stevens’ mission in Benghazi, they will say, was to buy back Stinger
missiles from al-Qaeda groups issued to them by the State Department,
not by the CIA. Such a mission would usually be a CIA effort, but the
intelligence agency had opposed the idea because of the high risk
involved in arming “insurgents” with powerful weapons that endanger
civilian aircraft.
Hillary Clinton still wanted to proceed because, in part, as one of
the diplomats said, she wanted “to overthrow Gaddafi on the cheap.”
and
Regarding General Ham, military contacts of the diplomats tell them
that AFRICOM had Special Ops “assets in place that could have come to
the aid of the Benghazi consulate immediately (not in six hours).”
Ham was told by the White House not to send the aid to the trapped
men, but Ham decided to disobey and did so anyway, whereupon the White
House “called his deputy and had the deputy threaten to relieve Ham of
his command.”
They note that they don't have confirmation of these things as yet; we'll see.
Confirmed dirt- more- on Fast & Furious:
The former U.S. Attorney for Arizona could be disbarred, after an
investigation found he lied to the Justice Department about his role in
trying to discredit the federal whistle-blower who exposed the botched
gun-running scheme known as Fast and Furious.
An Office of Inspector General report showed that Dennis Burke -- the
former chief of staff for Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano
appointed as U.S. Attorney for Arizona by President Obama in September
2009 -- lied when asked if he leaked sensitive documents to the press
meant to undermine the credibility of ATF whistle-blower John Dodson.
The IG report also said Burke likely leaked the memo in retaliation
for Dodson's whistle-blowing, and challenged the credibility of
statements he made to congressional investigators. Dodson first went to
Congress in 2010 after his own agency and the Justice Department refused
to investigate his complaints that Operation Fast and Furious, an
anti-gun-trafficking effort, was out of control.
Fire them. And take qualified immunity away from ANY LE officer involved in crap like this:
But Montanez says it was a Hays County SWAT truck that rammed his car
head-on. As they collided, another police vehicle pinned him from
behind, he says.
He heard a shot.
“I saw my windshield crack, and I ducked down as low as possible,” Montanez said. “I really thought I was going to die.”
Seconds later, he says, three deputies were pointing assault rifles
at him. “That’s when I heard one of the officers say, ‘Oh, (expletive),
we got the wrong guy,’ ” Montanez said.
...Even after officers realized that he was not the suspect, he said,
they kept him in handcuffs for half an hour while they questioned him
and ran a warrant check that came up with nothing. Then they let him go.
First, when the HELL did ramming a car become the approved SWAT-Operator Car-Stopping Method?
Second, THEY FIRED SHOTS?
Third, “Due to the urgency of these warrants and the hazards to neighbors and
bystanders, tactics were employed in order to maximize safety to
community and swift apprehension of the suspect,” the report states. BY RAMMING THE CAR?
