What I want to know is this: does 0.08% mean "not impaired", and so it would be pointless to lower the limit any farther? How many of these DUI accidents are over that limit, and how many are actually at or under it? I suspect that almost all DUIs are well over that limit, and, like the author of this post, believe this is about control, not safety.
But I'll bet we'll never find out those answers, will we?
