To the lazy effing bastards who couldn't be bothered to haul their ass out of the chair and go vote: fuck you. I don't want to hear a damned word of bitching from you.
To the Pure Of Heart who couldn't vote for Romney because he wasn't perfect: Fuck you, too. You really think Obama & Co. for another four years is better?
To the 'progressive' and 'liberal' people who've called me
misogynist,
racist,
bigot,
and generally disgusting because I don't agree with them, because I don't think I should have to pay for someone elses' birth control, fuck you twice. With a splintery shovel handle. Especially since, when I say something true you don't like, you accuse me of 'hate speech'. Usually followed by calling me names.
Oh, when when the death panel you screamed didn't/wouldn't exist tells your or some loved one "You can't have the treatment, so take a pill and wait for the end", I hope you enjoy it.
Added: to the major media: Almost every damned one of you deserves to be staked out on a hill of fire ants. You have lied both directly and by omission, you have helped cover up news that would trouble Obama, you have proven just what disgusting hacks you are. I cannot think of words to properly convey my contempt for you.
And going back a ways: one of the reasons this REALLY pisses me off? All the generations of scum-sucking, money-grubbing, power-hungry politicians and general dirtbags who've made the office of President- all the others for that matter- far more than it was ever intended to be. This election may have fucked the country for good and all in large part because of them; hell, the founders would've shot or horsewhipped anyone who even TALKED ABOUT wanting the kind of power over our lives the bastards now take for granted. And want more of.

I've said it before, but it bears repetition.
Science fiction writer Robert Anson Heinlein is oft quoted as having written, or said, "Ignorance is its own death sentence."
I'm truly sorry to see that a tiny majority of the American people demonstrated their ignorance on November 6th.
Now, I think, the survival of America itself will depend on the people who learned, long before Obama first appeared, that no one depends on ANY government - municipal, state, provincial, or national - for ANYTHING that an individual can take care of on his or her own.
Captain Reynolds said it well: "I aim to misbehave."
Every responsible individual now has a duty - sworn or not - to learn, then teach, the skills needed, not just to survive, but put a nation back together again.
Some of them just happen to be bloggers, too. ;)
Stay safe, Firehand.
Keep hammering.

Voting is the greatest source of encouragement available to modern tyrants.
"Captain Reynolds said it well: "I aim to misbehave."
I actually swallowed my bile and voted for Romney.
Considering that the creator of Firefly equated voting for Romney with encouraging a Zombie Apocalypse, Firefly references have little effect on my opinion...
I voted for a Giant government statist.
That's exactly what I got.
With all due respect, and I do mean Every word of that: "With. All. Due. Respect.
Mitt Romney was Bill Clinton without the charisma or carousing.
He lost...go figure.
This country has voted for socialism.
Give them everything they want. When it collapses offer them a bullet to the skull.
My guess is that unless you manage to win back entertainment and news changing politicians will, even in the best scenario, only slow down or maybe temporarily stop your slide towards full scale socialism. And entertainment may even be the more important piece here. Stories reflect the cultures in which they are born, but they also shape cultures. And your entertainment, especially the most visible, most easily attainable and most spectacular parts of it, is now mostly in the hands of liberals.
You know, one reason why the defendants of gun rights have been able to get results may be because guns are among the things which are still allowed to look cool even in the stories made by liberals.
Be angry with me if you want, it won't change anything.
Where do I send my application for the Cheka? I want to get in at the beginning.
Anonymous 5:37 -- Yep, we voted for a big government statist and we sure got one. How's the joke go? "I was told if I voted for Goldwater the war in Viet Nam will escalate, there will be rioting in the streets, and my money won't be worth anything. Later, I thanked that person for his ability, because I did vote for Goldwater and all those things happened!"
Voting only encourages the bastards.
take a read of this and the comments to it, and give them a couple of days to think over.
