And the wind just swept from the plain into Norman
They're currently saying F2, damage in the city. If you're religiously inclined, might spare a thought for those people it already thumped and those it's heading toward.
When I lived in Norman, I was told that the town was protected by an old Indian legend that assured us that thanks to a favorable location near the Canadian River, we would never get hit by a tornado.
One of the stormchasers said he'd called his son in Norman to say 'find a hole', and son assured him "It'll be ok, tornadoes don't hit Norman." 15 minutes later...
