On further reflection, if your son, who might be a bit smaller than the run of gigantic elementary school kids nowadays gets harassed by a bully, tell him to pop the bully in the nose. If the fight continues, tell him to tell the principal that the bully called him a "fag" or a "queer" or "homo". Your son will be a hero, and yon bully will never get an opportunity to bully again, at least not from outside a re-education camp, or where ever the school will send him for such a heinous crime as homophobia.
