I was right, just hadn't seen this last night
A federal law enforcement document reviewed by Breitbart Texas reports
that “protesters” who attacked the Atlanta Field Office of U.S.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) embedded nails into commercial-grade fireworks. The devices were reportedly discovered after
the protest ended Sunday morning.
Professional Journalism and faked history, and when they're caught?
Jones also said they “explicitly stated” their aims in the piece. The last sentence of the introduction (my emphasis): “On the 400th anniversary of this fateful moment, it is finally time to tell our story truthfully.”
Truthfully. When I read “truthfully” I expect facts and history.
Even if Jones wanted the 1619 Project to be a “work in journalism” she chose the wrong term. Journalism, like history, should report the truth. Not your truth. Not alternative facts.

This is a "I'm wondering why they haven't already" thing:
sooner or later the peaceful rioters are going to start wrapping the fireworks mortars and other IEDs with nails and screws.
I'm looking forward to some really pissed-off Marshall or other LE official to be ordered to talk to a House committee and explain why some of said peaceful types were shot and going full-out "Why the fuck do you THINK they got shot, you sorry bastard? They were killing our personnel."

I can't remember if I covered this before, and I'm too lazy to check, so:

If it has to do with personal-protection firearms and ammo*, we've been alternately short and out for the last couple of months. Shotguns with 18-20" barrels, slugs and buckshot, EBRs and ammo, smaller and full-size handguns, various pistol ammo.
As in we've been out of buckshot(any gauge) for about two months, 12-gauge slugs for two weeks**, so people who really need some kind of self/home-defense stuff get either turkey loads or the biggest birdshot we've got. Past week been out of .223, had some 20-round boxes of 5.56('had' because if none came in the other day, it's gone by now). No .380, .40 S&W, .38 Special. Low on 9mm and .45, hollowpoints depend- again- on if a shipment came in that had a case or two with the other stuff.
Cleaning kits for 9/.38 and .223 and .30, out. Hell, we've been out of Break Free for more than a month.
The beginners classes, and the CCW classes, fill up fast. SO not only are people buying stuff, they're wanting training.
Barring something changing drastically, this is going to continue until the election.
If Trump wins.
If Biden gets in, or if the Evil Party manages to hold the House and maybe get the Senate, it won't slow down for a long time more.

"We're completely out."
Stunned and panicked look. "But, I need it for the class!"
"Talk to (instructor), she may have a box stashed somewhere, but to sell we're completely out."
I don't know if she had some, or if she borrowed one of the rentals we had ammo for, but he did make the range session.

This guy hasn't posted in quite a while,
but he's had some very good advice on troubled situations. And with various asshats blocking roads, this might come in real handy at some point.
