A while back I asked about bicycle adjusting knowledge

and  got some answers.  I did call a bicycle shop I know of and asked what they charged for adjusting a bike to you; if it's just general stuff, $150, if it's a problem causing you pain a full 'check EVERYTHING and adjust it' is $300.

Being cheap I decided to start with a new seat, found a good one with much better padding and seemed like a better shape, mounted it and adjusted the height down a bit and changed the angle as they suggested.  And damn, that made a big difference.  I've been able to ride it without back pain, except for one day; that day I used the ice pack and heating pad on it(trading off with using it on my shoulder), that did a lot of good, and no more so far.

So, until I fall somewhere or get run over or something I can do this to make the docs happy.  Yay.
