Little bit late, guys

Itamar Ben Gvir, Israel’s National Security Minister, told the Times his office was approving 3,000 firearm permit applications per day, as opposed to around 100 per day before the terrorist attacks.

“When the war started, we knew that we were right when we said that every person that has a weapon can save a life,” Ben Gvir said, according to the Times. “We need to enable as many people as possible to carry a weapon.”

Would've been nice if they'd realized that BEFORE the effing massacre, wouldn't it?

Oh well, better late than never.

"...every person that has a weapon can save a life,”

Which will be thoroughly repudiated about ten minutes after the next "peace" treaty is signed with the Palis; so turn 'em in."

The proper response to that should be "No, I don't think so; GFY."

Mind your own business said...

At least they have the guts to change. Unlike our own craven politicians and bureaucrats, who never acknowledge a mistake. And rarely correct it.

If they keep up 3,000 permits a day, they'll have 11 percent of their population armed in a year. But they won't.
