There is a screw missing
(Not in me, dammit. At least not this one) A very particular screw.
And since I'm supposed to take it easy, I'm looking for it.
It's not going well.

Use a magnet on a stick, or a flashlight. The first if its steel; the second if its brass, aluminium, copper or stainless. Alternately, you can use my method of finding sharp pointed objects on the floor: walk around barefooted. I can find screws, pebbles, jacks, lego bricks, bottle caps, heck, I can find anything painfully shaped by just walking around...

The fastest way for me to find something is to buy another one.
I’ll hit the missing object with my foot when I walk in the door.
The magnet has been tried, along with moving all the stuff and using a strong flashlight. And checking pockets in the range bag, and pants, etc.
I'm currently working on the other method, finding if I can get a replacement, and if I can this one will turn up sometime after ordering.
That's if it hasn't fallen into that perambulating black hole that moves around worktables and benches.
