I feel very sorry for you James. To not miss a father is just so foreign to me, I don’t even know how to process it. My Dad drank too much, wasn’t a “happy” drunk by any means, but still taught me how to shoot, hunt, fish and clean & cook the harvested game. Because of his drinking and the effects it had on him I vowed I would never be that way. I just sit in the corner and laugh or grin when I’m lit. He was a mans man and taught me so much more about just plain living and succeeding. I miss him dearly after all these years.

No one gets through life unscathed. Know anybody who has ???
Mine's been dead for 47 years, I didn't care then and I don't now. I am always envious of those who had a father they miss when they are gone.
Remember the good times. Cherish the great times. Laugh at all the dad jokes you can remember.
My dad has been gone 22years, still miss and think of him, I'm thankful for the memory s.
